For today’s Wedding Planning RECAP, we are looking at this great wedding we had at this historic Rookery Building.  It was simply divine and in a space this gorgeous, it is the perfect space for a traditional wedding.

First, we had the space set for a ceremony.  Playing with the colors of the space, we used as much gold as we could.  Adorning the center aisle with an aisle runner and then having an array of candle light and these gorgeous arrangements in these beautiful gold vases, it was just beautiful.

From there, we had turned the room from ceremony to dinner.  With that, one of the things we decided to do was to create a dark base which almost makes the tables disappear.  What that does it allows the centerpieces to stand out and really shine in the space.

By letting these lush and beautiful arrangements stand out, the perimeter of the room was uplit in a soft amber lighting just to add more warmth to the room.

And to finish off the space, an elegant cake, decorated perfectly by Amy Beck Cake Design was placed in the room to finish off this elegant design.
